What people are saying

"The work Bounce does is very important for the design industry - providing creative and educational spaces for designers of all career levels to meet and work on something fun together"

Aeron O’Connor

"BOUNCE has a great way of creating space for curiosity and reflection, and it’s fast becoming a valuable moment in the calendar to step back, listen and think a bit deeper. The shift towards collaboration, storytelling and community felt timely and necessary."

"Attending Bounce was insightful; it showed that we need more spaces like Bounce. Not networking events. Not showcases. Not panels where everyone agrees with each other in slightly different language. We need spaces where open dialogue is the entire point. Where people from different disciplines, different sectors, and different lived experiences can challenge each other’s thinking before it hardens into policy or gets built into infrastructure. We need spaces for honest, uncomfortable, multidisciplinary dialogue. They’re essential infrastructure. Where honesty meets humility, and where discomfort becomes the starting point for something better."

"BOUNCE — the fresh new creative festival in Dublin — is such a brilliant addition to this fun, friendly, and vibrant city. The festival was packed with energy, inspiration, and a fantastic mix of speakers. The crowd was as warm and welcoming as you’d expect in Dublin, and the chemistry between creativity and inspiration was just perfect. We need more festivals like this — ones that genuinely support the community and help move the industry forward.Huge congrats to you, Danielle, for pulling it all together and bringing such a meaningful event to life. I can’t wait to see how Bounce grows and helps shape the creative scene in Ireland in the years to come!"

"Bounce has such a great vibe! The speakers lineup and creatives involved were amazing, and there was so much energy and creativity everywhere. It really felt like ideas and inspiration were bouncing around every corner. The best part was the sense of community, everyone was friendly, open, and excited to share. Big shoutout to the organisers for creating such a welcoming and inspiring space. Bounce isn’t just a festival, it’s a creative catalyst, bringing people together in the most inspiring way."

It’s been more than a month since BOUNCE Festival in Dublin at the famous Trinity College, centered around the theme of ‘Being’. I was super blessed to be able to close the conference with my performative lecture What Makes Us Human. Thank you so much @danielle_townsend_pro for the invitation! I didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out to be a perfect mix of in-depth discussions through panels, alternating with fresh and inspiring design presentations such as Jaron Korvinus @StudioSpass. My favourite panel featured Gillian Henderson, Michael McDermott and social psychologist Dr. Mamobo Ogoro, exploring belonging and feeling safe. “Design doesn’t just shape objects and messages — it shapes who belongs.” I would have loved to continue that conversation much longer. With it’s cross-disciplinary design approach there is something for everyone at BOUNCE festival I think.
