About the Session
Community, Creativity and a Toad in a Treehouse, follows Fiona Ennis and Aisling Murphy as they reflect on their journey from their first steps on the BOUNCE stage to the projects, collaborations, and community connections that followed. Their collaborative practice–Something Somewhere Studio–acts as a lens for the duo to work with community groups, sharing design methodologies, thinking and strategy across the globe.
Through behind-the-scenes moments, personal reflections and project footage, from their creative work, the film explores what it means to be a designer today, and why that role matters. How community, responsibility, and empathy shape their practice and the projects they choose, the communities they support, and the impact they aim to create. And how BOUNCE opened new doors, sparked conversations, and helped shape their next opportunities.
